Ten-fold traffic fine plans target drunken, speeding drivers
Vientiane authorities will soon commence imposing ten-fold fines on drunk drivers and speeding motorists in the capital with the aim being to reduce road-related accidents, injuries and fatalities. The Traffic Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security and Vientiane authorities have a plan to implement these elevated penalties.
